Our Review of Konig Pilsener

Recently I have tried several German beers, mainly lagers, pilsners, wheat beers and marzens. With the exception of Henninger, the lagers have ranged from very good to spectacular. Henninger Lager was the first one that wasn’t that great. Before trying Bitburger Premium Pils, I tasted Konig Pilsener, another excellent beer. It was advertised as a bit hoppier than a lager, and it was as advertised.
The Bitburger Premium Pils was very similar to Konig Pilsener but I liked it better. It was less hoppy, which matches my personal preference. If you prefer beers to be more hoppy, Konig Pilsener may be the better choice. Either way, they are both very good beers, clean, crisp and refreshing to drink by themselves or with food.
