Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA is one of its flagship beers. Athletic Brewing and the non alcoholic beer market have been growing rapidly in recent years. Non alcoholic beers have several health advantages over regular beers, including fewer calories, sugar, carbs and of course, alcohol. Non alcoholic means less than 0.5% alcohol, so non alcoholic beers can still have traces of alcohol.

Athletic Brewing has become synonymous with non alcoholic beers with a large selection of award winning beers in many styles, including IPAs, limited edition specialty beers and lots more. The brewer is now considered a top 10 craft brewer.

Athletic Brewing describes Run Wild as “the ultimate sessionable IPA for craft beer lovers. Brewed with a blend of five Northwest hops, it has an approachable bitterness to balance the specialty malt body. Always refreshing and only 65 calories.” Athletic Brewing suggests pairing it with burgers, pizza and tacos. The 65 calories is about 1/3 of many IPAs, which can have 200 calories or more.

Run Wild has 14g carbohydrates, less than 1g protein, 0g fat and a 35 IBU. It has won over 20 gold and silver medals. It has a “Very Good” rating on Beer Advocate.

Our Review of Run Wild IPA

If IPAs are your favorite style of beer, Run Wild IPA is an excellent choice. If we didn’t know it was non alcoholic, we would just assume it contained alcohol. It is very difficult to tell the difference. We are not big fans of IPAs in general, finding them to be too bitter, filling, and loaded with calories, but we still loved Run Wild IPA. As Athletic Brewing says, Run Wild IPA is very “sessionable” and much lower in calories. We highly recommend it for IPA lovers and non-lovers.
