The Non Alcoholic Beer Market
Free Wave Hazy IPA is one of Athletic Brewing’s flagship beers. Athletic Brewing and the non alcoholic beer market have been growing rapidly in recent years. Non alcoholic beers have several health advantages over regular beers, including fewer calories, sugar, carbs and of course, alcohol. Non alcoholic means less than 0.5% alcohol, so non alcoholic beers can still have traces of alcohol.
Athletic Brewing has become synonymous with non alcoholic beers with a large selection of award winning beers in many styles, including IPAs, limited edition specialty beers and lots more. The brewer is now considered a top 10 craft brewer.
Athletic Brewing Free Wave Hazy IPA Non Alcoholic Beer
Athletic Brewing describes Run Wild as “a hugely hoppy hazy IPA with a juicy body and velvety pour. A trio of Amarillo, Citra and Mosaic hops generate bodacious aromatics of tangerine and grapefruit. Notes of pine and florals emerge in the secondary palate for an herbaceous reprieve in all the right places. It’s luscious, smooth, and highly aromatic.” Athletic Brewing suggests pairing it with desserts, salads & pizza. It has 70 calories, about 1/3 of many IPAs, which can have 200 calories or more.
Free Wave has 16g carbohydrates, 1g protein, 0g fat and a 50 IBU. It has won over 10 gold and silver medals. It has a “Very Good” rating on Beer Advocate.
Our Review of Free Wave Hazy IPA
If IPAs are your favorite style of beer, Free Wave Hazy IPA is an excellent choice. If we didn’t know it was non alcoholic, we would just assume it contained alcohol. It is very difficult to tell the difference. We are not big fans of IPAs in general, finding them to be too bitter, filling, and loaded with calories, but we still loved Free Wave IPA. It is hoppier than Run Wild, but we highly recommend both for IPA lovers and non-lovers.
