Old Prague Premium Lager Beer Review
Old Prague
Old Prague is based in the Czech Republic and brews Old Prague Premium Lager. There is little available information on the brewery.
Old Prague Premium Lager
There is very little information available about Premium Lager. Old Prague’s website has information on Bohemian Premium Lager, which may be the same beer, but it has a lower ABV (4.8% vs. 5.2%) than the US version. Old Prague describes the beer as “Traditional Czech lager beer brewed in traditional technology with open fermentation from own malt, saatz hops and spring water. The longer maturation period gives the Old Prague Premium Lager a velvety delicate and deliciously bitter taste.”
Premium Lager has a 5.2% ABV. There is very little other reliable nutrition information. The 4.8% ABV version has a “Very Good” rating on Beer Advocate.
Our Review of Old Prague Premium Lager

I don’t have a lot to say about Premium Lager. It is a basic lager. It was hoppier than other lagers I have had, although I have no idea what the IBU is. Premium Lager fits into that category that I would drink it if it was offered to me, but I would not go out of my way to have it.
In contrast, I have tried several German lagers that have ranged from very good to spectacular, particularly those from Weihenstephaner and Spaten. If you want to try a European lager, I recommend Weihenstephaner Original Premium Lager, Weihenstephaner Kellerbier and Spaten Premium Lager.
