The Non Alcoholic Beer Market
Wellbeing Hellraiser Dark Amber is a premium non alcoholic beer. The non alcoholic beer market has been growing rapidly in recent years. Non alcoholic beers have several health advantages over regular beers, including fewer calories, sugar, carbs and of course, alcohol. Non alcoholic means less than 0.5% alcohol, so non alcoholic beers can still have traces of alcohol.
Athletic Brewing is the current market leader in non alcoholic beers and is a top 10 craft brewer. But another brewery we never heard of before is Wellbeing Brewing based in St. Louis, Missouri. Wellbeing Brewing offers a variety of non alcoholic beers, including IPAs, wheat, light beer and Hellraiser Dark Amber.
Hellraiser Dark Amber Non Alcoholic Beer

This hop-forward amber has the perfect balance of floral aroma and spicy hops to delight the palette of craft beer enthusiasts everywhere.” Wellbeing Hellraiser has a surprisingly low 33 calories. It has a 0.3 ABV, the one time we have seen an actual ABV on a non-alcoholic beer rather than “less than 0.5%.” It has a “Good” rating on Beer Advocate.
Our Review
Wellbeing Hellraiser Dark Amber proves that you can’t judge a book by its cover. I was looking at the non-alcoholic beer section at Total Wine and More and this beer caught my eye. As I prefer red ales and lagers, I liked the “Dark Amber” name. I had never heard of this brewery or this beer so I quickly looked it up and found some decent reviews. It came in a plain aluminum can with a wrap around label that in some cases wasn’t even affixed straight and had creases, but I picked up a 4-pack.
I was not disappointed. This may be my new favorite non alcoholic beer. It has a more robust taste than most I have tried and a surprisingly low 33 calories. Wellbeing Hellraiser is a great choice when you consider the taste, low calories and minimal alcohol.
