Las Vegas Shows
It seems like there is no end in sight for openings and expansion of Las Vegas hotels and casinos. According to Visit Las Vegas there are now almost 300 hotels and resorts and about 151,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas. Virtually every major resort offers several shows to see, including comedy, magic, music, variety, Cirque du Soleil, tribute shows and more. Unfortunately shows are expensive and prices keep increasing. Shows are considered “affordable” if they are under $50 per ticket and some shows can range from $150 to almost $1000 per ticket. So, how can you find discount Las Vegas show tickets?
Discount Las Vegas Show Ticket Websites
There are lots of places to buy show tickets for Las Vegas shows. Each venue has its own web site for tickets or in partnership with Ticketmaster. There is also the Visit Las Vegas site mentioned above. However, while they have some discounts on hotels, they just refer you to the venue websites for show tickets. We have found two websites which have real discounts on show tickets. They are Vegas.com and LasVegas.com. Another discount ticket site is Spotlight.Vegas. We recently found tickets to be significantly less expensive at Spotlight Vegas than any other ticket site we visited.
We have used these sites four times to buy tickets for comedy shows and each time saved a significant amount (at least in percentage terms) over buying direct from the venue or Ticketmaster. We have not tried buying hotel, air or other tickets so we cannot vouch for the discounts in those categories.
Discount Las Vegas Show Tickets – The Bottom Line
As discussed above, we have used these sites in the past with excellent results. The next time we visit Las Vegas and want to see a show, we will use them again to buy tickets.
