Our Actual Experience
Our post “How to Find Discount Las Vegas Show Tickets” details our personal experience saving money for some Las Vegas comedy shows using third party ticket sellers rather buying direct from the venue. In this post, we are going to test those sites and the venue and show how to get Carrot Top discount tickets at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. This was only a price test and we did not complete the ticket purchase. We have done this with several shows in Las Vegas but the results of this one were very different.
How to Get Carrot Top Discount Tickets – Ticket Sites We Tested
We checked ticket prices for the Carrot Top show at 7:00 pm on September 7, 2024. We chose seats near the front, although it was impossible to purchase the exact same seats at each site, as the process of adding seats to the shopping cart prevents purchasing those exact same seats from other sites for a short time. The four sites we checked were the official Luxor site, Spotlight.vegas, Vegas.com and TicketNetwork.com. We are an affiliate of all of the third party sellers and may receive compensation from any tickets purchased via the links on our site.
The Luxor Site
The total for two tickets in the third row was $182.50 including taxes and fees.
Spotlight.vegas
The total for two tickets in the third row was $181.22 including taxes and fees, $1.28 less than the Luxor site.
Vegas.com and TicketNetwork.com
Vegas.com works a little differently. The website displays tickets at full price and one must create an account to become an “insider” and see discounted prices. We are reluctant to show a screenshot due to the site’s requirements, but we can tell you that the total price was higher than either of the above two options. TicketNetwork.com had limited tickets at much higher prices
How to Get Carrot Top Discount Tickets – The Bottom Line
First some disclaimers. We only checked a single show on a single date. Other shows may return a different result. In addition, prices are dynamic and reflect supply and demand. Ticket prices for the show we checked may have changed since we published this post. But based on our test, we found little savings using third party sites. Only Spotlight.vegas would have saved $1.28.
