Our Review of Black Butte Porter

I previously tried Black Butte non alcoholic and it was one of the best NA beers I have had. It was difficult to tell that it was NA. Generally speaking, every Deschutes beer has been good.
I am not necessarily into porters and stouts, but Black Butte was excellent. I could taste the chocolate, and the beer had a clean taste. My only comparison is Guinness, and Black Butte was far superior. The one downside of this beer is that I find it hard to drink by itself or to drink more than one beer. It is best with a meal or possibly as a dessert beer, which I do not find appealing.
For other dark beer recommendations, try Hofbrau Dunkel, Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale and Figueroa Mountain Davy Brown Ale.
