Non alcoholic beers have several health advantages over regular beers, including fewer calories, sugar, carbs and of course, alcohol. Non alcoholic means less than 0.5% alcohol, so non alcoholic beers can still have traces of alcohol.

Athletic Brewing Oktoberfest Fest Brew Non Alcoholic Beer
Athletic Brewing describes Oktoberfest Fest Brew as “a brew inspired by traditional Bavarian Festbiers and crafted for celebration every fall. It pours a sunny golden hue with a fluffy foam cap and boasts a clean malt backbone from Vienna and Munich malts. Hallertau Mittelfruh hops add light bitterness to complement the bready aromatics and slightly sweet body. Spirited, yet delicate, and supremely refreshing.” Oktoberfest Fest Brew has a 20 IBU, 70 calories, 16g carbohydrates, 1g protein and 0g fat. It has a “Very Good” rating on Beer Advocate.
Our Review of Oktoberfest Fest Brew
I have tried several Athletic Brewing Non Alcoholic Beers and most have been very good. I particularly like the Cerveza Atletica and the IPAs are excellent. The only one I found to be weak is the Upside Dawn Golden.
I have also had several German Oktoberfest beers which have ranged from very good to some of the best beers I have ever tasted. The Athletic Oktoberfest is certainly one of the better non alcoholic beers I have tried, but it is not comparable to a German Oktoberfest beer.
It was smooth and drinkable with little of the odd non alcoholic beer aftertaste, but I really did not taste anything that screamed “Oktoberfest.” I would consider drinking it again when I want a non alcoholic beer, but I wouldn’t consider it an Oktoberfest alternative.
